Well this is something you don’t see everyday. A Nebraska basketball player who was not only invited to the NBA Combine, but appears to be impressing NBA scouts and analysts.
ESPN's Jay Bilas points out three players who stood out at the NBA Combine on Thursday. One of them was Isaiah Roby.
— Clark Grell (@LJSSportsGrell) May 16, 2019
"I think he showed why he's a very good prospect in this year's draft. Probably a top second-round pick, maybe he can sneak into the first round."#Huskers
As always they measure the players to a ridiculous degree. Remember, that Drew Brees had small hands! Very impressive 3.9% body fat.
Isaiah Roby's combine measurements:
— Jacob Padilla (@JacobPadilla_) May 16, 2019
– 6'7.25"
– 6'8.5" in shoes
– 7'1" wingspan
– 8'10" standing reach
– 210 pounds (3.9% body fat)
– 9" hand length, 10.5" hand width
In his first NBA Combine game he had a very respectable line.
Isaiah Roby finishes with 10 points, 5 rebounds and 3 blocks in 21 minutes in the first scrimmage of the weekend at the NBA Draft Combine. #Huskers

Asked ESPN’s Mike Schmitz about Isaiah Roby of Nebraska this morning and he said he’s gotta show confidence and toughness, can’t pass up open 3s in the NBA. Later said he’s one of 3 prospects who could rise up draft boards https://t.co/0lRlgHUi7P

Lastly, here’s a message from the one and only Isaiah Roby.

Also, there were two coaches on site to watch him play.
Both @CoachMiles and @CoachHoiberg are in attendance to watch @roby_isaiah at the NBA Combine. Pretty cool. #Nebrasketball

Former Husker Wes Wilkinson Brings Three-on-Three Tournament to Omaha | Hail Varsity
After a successful decade-long playing career overseas, former Husker and Nebraska native Wes Wilkinson hung up his sneakers in 2017. He wasn’t quite sure what he wanted to do next, but he didn’t think it would include basketball.
“I actually tried to shelf basketball out of my life and start another part of it and I just became depressed,” Wilkinson told Hail Varsity. “I’ve got to have the game in my life one way or another.”

Moos talks South Stadium plans, early kickoffs, roster turnover
There's a rough draft on the table for improvements to South Stadium, but Husker fans who sit there for football games may need to hold tight for a bit before they see those come to fruition.
Nebraska athletics director Bill Moos addressed that topic among many others on Wednesday night during his monthly appearance on the "Sports Nightly" radio program on the Husker Sports Network. A caller who has been seated in South Stadium for the last 30 years said those seated over there can feel like "step children" compared to others in different parts of the stadium where there have been facility upgrades.

For quiet Husker star Spielman, 'behind-the-scenes' leadership style works just fine | Football | journalstar.com
The way JD Spielman explains it, Nebraska football has been on something of a growth spurt for the past year-plus.
Growing pains — the literal ones — can be particularly frustrating, because the discomfort is immediate and obvious, but the payoff isn’t so noticeable.
Who's running the show? Inside the Lakers' hierarchy
With the Los Angeles Lakers hiring Frank Vogel as head coach after being rejected by Monty Williams and Ty Lue, questions are swirling about the team's power structure.

The Night The Lights Went Out
I am the least reliable narrator when it comes to the story of my brain exploding. This is because, from the time right before I suffered a freakish brain hemorrhage last year to the time I regained full consciousness roughly two weeks later, I remember nothing. My mind is an absolute blank. It’s like the fabled pause in the Nixon Tapes. I was not here. That time of my life may as well not exist. Oh, but it did.

From boosting hunting success to breathing underwater, many animals have evolved uses for bubbles.
I just read a trilogy about man-eating spiders (The Hatching series) who about destroy the entire human-race. Me no likey this article. Ugh....spiders.
