It was late Monday night when Nebraska received another commitment from a commit out of Arkansas. Kevin Cross, a 6’8” forward made it official that he would be taking his talents to Lincoln and play for Fred Hoiberg.

Cross picked Nebraska over Oklahoma State and TCU. Many had predicted that he would end up at Okie State but that was before Fred came along and convinced him to play in Lincoln.
As stated above, he is 6’8” and a solid 240 pounds. That size will bode well for Nebraska in Big Ten play. His recruitment interest really didn’t pick up until his senior year and should have room to improve and grow once he gets to campus.
Kevin is planning on signing with Nebraska on Wednesday which is the end of the spring singing period for basketball. Nebraska still has one more scholarship to fill for the upcoming year though there is no plan as of now to sign anyone else in the immediate future.
