Perhaps there is some redeeming quality in Creighton and that is their RPI.
Both teams are ranked in the top 40 of the RPI, released by the NCAA on Monday. The Huskers sit in the No. 40 spot, while Creighton is ranked 26th.
Therefore this will be a good win for our beloved baseball guys, whereas beating someone like Penn State who doesn’t give a damn about their baseball team only drags us down in RPI.
