Reece Eddins and the Nebraska baseball team look to take the series against Illinois on getaway day. Nebraska dropped the opener 8-1 before walking off Illinois yesterday 4-3. Eddins gets the start of the mound for the Huskers while Illinois will send Cyrillo Watson to the hill.
Watson is coming off a solid effort last weekend against Penn State. He threw seven innings, giving up just one run on five hits while picking up the victory. He has been up and down in Big Ten play as Illinois had lost his previous three starts against Iowa, Maryland, and Minnesota.

Eddins looks to stay on track against a team that has offensive firepower. Eddins shut down Iowa last weekend as the Huskers salvaged the Sunday game in that series.
