Boom!
Boom!
Boom!
Fred Hoiberg’s reputation from Iowa State has traveled with him to Nebraska. He was known to pull a lot of transfers to the Cyclones with positive results and he looks like he is trying to do the same with the Huskers.
It has only been a day since forward Matej Kavas committed to Nebraska and we already have another transfer coming in and ready to play.
On late Sunday night it was announced that the Nebraska Men’s basketball team earned the commit of junior college transfer Cam Mack. Cam will come to Lincoln from Salt Lake Community College in Utah. The 6’3” point guard averaged 19 points and 7.5 assists for the Bruins his freshman year. He will be able to give 3 years to the Huskers once he comes to campus.

Nebraska was able to pull his talents away from perennial power Gonzaga and Arkansas. A major coup for a player who was looked at as one of the top junior college players in the nation.
This is shaping out to be a entirely new team that will take the court in Pinnacle Bank Arena this upcoming season. It will be interesting to see who Fred and his staff finds to fill out the rest of the 3 open scholarships.
