The Husker baseball team started a stretch of five games in six days last night. Nebraska didn’t fare well as they got shut out by the Wildcats of Kansas State 5-0. Tonight, they take on the Summit League-leading Omaha Mavericks at 6:30 at Werner Park in Omaha.

Let’s hope the bats wake up for this one.

This weekend, the Big Ten-leading Huskers travel to Iowa City for a three game conference series with the Hawkeyes. Iowa is a decent team and the Huskers will need to put some runs on the board to grab a series win.

Go Big Red!

Water that never freezes | ETH Zurich
Making ice cubes is a simple process: you take a plastic ice-cube tray like you’d find in most households, fill it with water and put it in the freezer. Before long, the water crystallises and turns to ice.

But how will we keep our beer cold without ice?
