Nebraska Football Spring Scrimmage: Game Time, TV, Streaming, Radio and More

Everything you need to know to watch, listen or stream the Cornhuskers spring football game

Jon Johnston

The spring game sold out in less than a week in February. Nebraska fans are clearly excited about the future of the football program, especially with Scott Frost at the helm and Adrian Martinez at quarterback.

I will be attending as part of the Teammates Chapter from our town. Most of you know this already, but the Teammates program was founded by Tom and Nancy Osborne with the mission to impact the world by inspiring youth to reach their full potential through mentoring.

Mentors in this program meet weekly with their mentee during the school year. The main goal is to just be there. Play a game, shoot some hoops, or draw silly pictures on a chalkboard. Mostly, just be there.

The premise of the program is that a child can never have to many adults who care about them in their lives. The time commitment is minimal - I spend a half hour with my mentee each week for 20-25 weeks of the school year.

Bottom line - consider being a part of the Teammates program if your town/school has a chapter. You can make a difference.
