If there was a poll among Nebraska fans on what player they were most excited to see at the Spring Game, I have a feeling 75-90% would say Wan’Dale Robinson. The four star early enrollee however is one of many players who will not be suiting up for the glorified practice.

Michael Bruntz, of 24/7 reported the following list of players who will not be playing:

Anthony Banderas

Bradley Bunner

Braxton Clark

Nick Henrich

Chris Hickman

Will Honas

Cam’ron Jones

Wan’Dale Robinson

Collin Shefke

CJ Smith

JD Spielman

Jack Stoll

Caleb Tannor

Maurice Washington

Tate Wildeman

That is a pretty star studded list of players who are sitting out. Particularly Maurice Washington, J.D. Spielman, Will Honas, Nick Henrich (which is who I would have voted for), Caleb Tannor, Chris Hickman and Jack Stoll.

However, I have a feeling people are still going to be plenty excited for football in the middle of the spring.

HEY YA’LL WE STILL NEED MORE RECIPES

Earlier this week I posted an article asking for “Nebraska Inspired” recipes. Here it is for more detailed information.

In a gist, I am asking for recipes that either use “Nebraska products” or are from Nebraska families.

So far I think we have five total recipes. So this series which I hoped could go weekly all summer might be tri-weekly or something like that.

If you want some inspiration, one of the recipes is a Rachero Huevos Eggs Benedict with Amigo’s Crisp Meat Burritos. It could be awesome or horrible.

So send me some recipes so we can make my family eat this food on a weekly basis!

Email me at nmchugh85@gmail.com, DM on twitter (@nmchugh85) or write it in the comments.

Thanks and I hope to see a bunch more!
