The 2019 Big Ten Wrestling tourney started this morning at Williams Arena at the University of Minnesota.
Nebraska started poorly when 125 pound Zeke Moisey was pinned in 18 seconds by Elijah Oliver of Indiana. You can see his reaction in photos #3 and #4.
I’m not posting the entire results in here.. but it sounds like Minnesota is wrestling above their heads. Nebraska is doing about as expected.
And Minnesota’s heavyweight, Gabe Stevenson, is some kind of freak job. He’s picked up and easily thrown a dude from Illinois. Then he did the same to the Iowa wrestler Jake Stoll.
Then this happened:

Needless to say, the Minnesota crowd went insane. They also go insane any time Iowa loses or does poorly anywhere in the Arena.
In fact, if they’re like this in the first session, I expect a riot by tonight.
