Nebraska’s baseball game against #12 Mississippi State to conclude the Frisco Classic has been cancelled due to the weather. The forecast temperature for the first pitch is 34 degrees, with a wind chill of 22. The second game between Texas Tech and Sam Houston State was also scrubbed, as the forecast wind chill was not going to top 31 degrees later this afternoon.

Nebraska’s next scheduled game is Friday at Baylor, a game that was originally scheduled to be played in Lincoln but was moved due to the fact that Haymarket Park is still blanketed by about a foot of snow with no signs of significant melting in the forecast.
Friday’s expected high in Lincoln is 32 degrees; Waco’s forecast high on Friday is 72.
