The regular season is now over and that means the All Big Ten lists are coming out. While Nebraska’s season did not go the way many expected it to, the squad did pull a couple of awards.
First up is guard James Palmer Jr. The senior made Third Team All Big Ten in both the media and coaches polls. James ended the regular season averaging 19.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game. He lead Nebraska in points, assists while also averaging 1.4 steals per game. The 19.1 points per game ranked him third in the conference.
The former Miami transfer was a first team selection last season by the coaches and second team by the media.
Recognition for the senior from Upper Marlboro, Md.

Also of note is junior Isaiah Roby who was picked as a Big Ten Sportsmanship Award Honoree. What is this award? Each conference team has one player on the list for this so I am assuming these are the players chosen by the coaches who best promote sportsmanship? That’s my best guess, I’m spit balling here.
The 6’8” forward averaged 11.5 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game. He lead Nebraska in rebounds while also averaging a leading 1.8 blocks per contest.
