It is official. The Cincinnati Bengals announced the hiring of former Husker Zac Taylor as their new head coach. This move has been expected for a while, but nothing could be signed until after the Los Angeles Rams completed their season. Taylor is the quarterback coach for the Rams. The Rams offense did “play” in the Superbowl last night but came up short against the New England Patriots.
Taylor becomes just one of 32 men in the world that can list “NFL head coach” on their resume and he does so at the tender age of 35. There were three PLAYERS in the Superbowl last night who were 35 or older (Tom Brady, Andrew Whitworth, and Stephen Gostkowski).
