Frosted Flakes: Expectations for Football, Baseball Schedule Change

How soon do you think this will turn around?

Steven M. Sipple: Frazier hopes fans patient with Frost; Miles' telling quote; and Pierson-El's TD | Column | journalstar.com

"What I want to see is fans dial back what they think Nebraska's going to be just because Scott's here," Frazier says. "Quite frankly, it's going to take time. I know people don't want to hear that. What he did at Central Florida in the second year isn't going to happen at Nebraska."

Sipp with a good column talking to Tommie Frazier about expectations for Nebraska football.

We keep hearing that it’s going to take some time. Does anyone really believe that? Or is the desire to have a winner hurting so much that the time frame is shortened to next season or the season after that?

How long before we become antsy, crazy people?

Friends, Family Help Simon Celebrate Senior Night - Huskers.com - Nebraska Athletics Official Web Site
Such was the case Monday night. Long after the Nebraska women’s basketball team concluded its home season with a 74-58 loss to No. 12 Iowa, there was Simon, a graduate of Lincoln Pius X High School, hugging friends, taking group pictures, signing autographs. She knew most of them, and the few she didn’t, well, they certainly knew her.

The secret lives of Facebook moderators in America - The Verge

In a damning new report, Casey Newton gives an unprecedented look at the day-to-day lives of Facebook moderators in America. His interviews with twelve current and former employees of Cognizant in Arizona reveal a workplace perpetually teetering on the brink of chaos.

An excellent article from another Vox site, The Verge. You wonder if it will lead to any changes at Facebook or the subcontracting company Cognizant. I doubt it. As much as we say we’d like to see changes and not rely on social media, practically no one is deleting their FB accounts are they? What about twitter, that den of hellhole and Russian bots?

Hundreds of ice anglers stuck on Mille Lacs | kare11.com

And the problems aren’t only on dry land. Heavy drifting on ice roads left hundreds of ice anglers stuck across Lake Mille Lacs. The snow is so deep vehicles can’t get back to the mainland, leaving those stuck keeping a worried eye on their propane and food supplies.

Don’t know if you know anything about Lake Mille Lacs, but it is an enormous lake in Northern Minnesota. It’s one of the best walleye lakes around. I can imagine that if people are stuck out in their ice houses that it’s a potentially very dangerous situation. If they run out of propane, they’re gonna die out there from the cold.

Our Favorite Cosplay From Katsucon 2019

I know there are a lot of cosplay shows throughout the year, and I know a lot of them are big, but there’s something about Katsucon that just makes people go all out.

This stuff amazes me. I don’t know all of the characters, of course, but some of them. It’s amazing the costumes people come up with for this stuff.
