Frosted Flakes: Yo Yo Injuries Are the Worst

We’re under a winter storm warning here in eastern Nebraska. It is also high school sub-district tournament time for boys and districts for girls basketball. The storm fortunately decided to hit overnight after the first round of sub-districts and will hopefully be done before sub-district finals.

Ranchhand 2 is part of the bench mob for his school’s team. They currently have a 23-1 record and will be heading to the sub-district finals on Thursday. As is usually the case in small towns, everyone is pretty excited to see these kids doing so well.

Us? We are excited too; partly because Ranchhand 2 hasn’t broken anything yet in this sports season [knocking on wood with both hands]. I consider that a big win!
