NCAA Basketball: Nebraska at Purdue Marc Lebryk-USA TODAY Sports

In all honesty, the Nebraska men’s basketball team played better than I expected against Purdue. Yes, the score was pretty bad but a lot of that came at the last quarter of play. The Boilermakers were bigger, stronger, and more athletic that what the Huskers could put on the floor Saturday night.

With that said, the Huskers are at least trying right now. No, they can’t shoot anything that’s two feet in front of them but neither can a person with no arms.

Wait, that’s a bad analogy.

But you see my point.

Lucky for us Husker baseball is right around the corner. Our own Keith Yaple will have an update to satisfy our sports interests later today so keep an eye out for it.

Anyway, on to flakes...
