Lincoln North Star standout and future Huskers Donovan Williams has decommitted from the Nebraska basketball 2020 recruiting class. The senior guard is a four star prospect and the #2 rated player in the state of Nebraska.

He committed to Nebraska back in August of 2018 and kept his commitment to the program through the transition from coach Tim Miles to Fred Hoiberg. That is, until today. Williams will no longer be a member of this recruiting class and will open up a spot for Fred.

He averaged 21 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game his junior year for North Star and ended the year on the All-Nebraska second team. Other schools that had offered him were South Dakota, Bradley, Nebraska-Omaha, and Missouri - Kansas City.

We wish Donovan the best in his future and hope he lands with the right school and team that can utilize his talents.
