Jaiden Francois, 6-0 185lb four star safety prospect out of Homestead, Florida has committed to the Nebraska Cornhuskers! Jaiden had a host of offers, but his top teams were Nebraska, Miami, Auburn, Penn State, Indiana and LSU. Committed to the Hurricanes twice, he last opened his recruitment back up in October. His official visit to Lincoln in November went quite well, and the fact that other Floridians such as Ronald Delancy III were committed and high on Nebraska put them out in front. Miami made a strong push towards the end, but the relationship with the Nebraska coaches as well as the peer recruiting from Delancy put the Huskers on top.
Jaiden had a stellar junior season, garnering 14 interceptions, and receiving All-County recognition in football hotbed Dade county. His senior season was marred by injury and not nearly as productive. He plays with good vision and takes good angles to the ball. His 40 was listed as 4.65, but he plays much faster. I thought his pass coverage was excellent, and he kept the plays in front of him very well. If he could improve anything, it would be his tackling on running plays and blitzes.
This one I would have lost money betting on the outcome! Welcome to the Husker family, Jaiden! GBR!
