Jordon Riley, 6-5 330lb three star defensive lineman from Durham, North Carolina has committed to the Nebraska Cornhuskers! Jordon was on the roster of UNC for two seasons, but couldn’t maintain his grades in their fake classes. How does that work? He went to Garden City Community College to get things turned back around, where he was quite successful on the field. He expressed interest in Nebraska, that interest was returned, and he made things verbally official this morning.
Riley is a bit of a raw prospect, having not started playing football until his sophomore year of high school. With him also being a 2-for-2 player, I’m not entirely sure what the draw is. I’m reading between the lines here, and thinking that he’s a replacement for Julius Coates, who is rumored to be staying with his Colorado commitment. His is a January enrollee, so he can get on campus right away and start getting conditioned and learn the system.
