Nebraska Recruiting: Outside Linebacker Keyshawn Greene is N!

Florida State Decommit Picks Huskers over Canes

#All’N

Great news from the land of Vice!

Keyshawn Greene, 6-3 195lb four star outside linebacker from Crawfordville, FL has committed to the Nebraska Cornhuskers! Keyshawn, a former Florida State commit, opened up his recruitment when the Seminoles fired their head coach. He was instantly pursued by Nebraska, as well as Miami, Arkansas and Florida, as well as by the new Florida State coaching staff. Nebraska’s desperate need for speed on the edge, coupled with the support systems in place, put the Cornhuskers in front.

Keyshawn is a big-time talent at outside linebacker. He’s fast and athletic. He has the ability to cover a running back on a wheel route or a tight end on a shallow crossing route, as well that the speed to come off the edge and sack the quarterback. This top 247 prospect has been rated the fastest outside linebacker in the 2020 recruiting class. Like a verified 4.49 40 fast. Fast! This is a young man with incredible potential. The coaching staff did a great job to get him in the boat. They see him in a hybrid role similar to JoJo Domann - able to rush off the edge or drop back in coverage as needed.

Keyshawn’s commitment moves the Nebraska 2020 recruiting class to 21st overall, 4th in the B1G. There’s more yet to come! Welcome to the Husker family, Keyshawn! GBR!
