Week 10 Cobs: More Flopping and Special Teams Mishaps

Another week of college football craziness.

The embarrassing blowouts, flopping and special teams shenanigans continue in Week 10 of College Football. Let’s check out this week’s cob nominations.

Georgia Southern players Jay Bowdry and C.J. Wright

Not just one player but two players flopped at the same time on the same play.

Then Jay Bowdry quickly got up to trash talk a player who called him out for it.

Virginia Tech special teams

This might have worked in Pop Warner Football but college football players aren’t falling for it (I set up the full-game video to start playing at the failed trick play).

Syracuse

The Orange will be feeling blue after giving up 34 points in the 2nd quarter to Boston College who eventually finished with a school record 691 yards in a single game. The Eagles also had 496 rushing yards which is the most ever recorded in a conference game. All this the week after giving up the most yards in school history to Clemson. Syracuse was flat out taken to the wood shed.

Arizona

The Wildcats gave up 28 points in the 2nd quarter to Oregon State on route to a 56-38 loss. After starting the season 4-1, Arizona has lost 4 straight games. Wait this kind of sounds familiar.

56 points is almost the most points Oregon State has ever scored in a conference road game.

AAC Refs

How do you miss this obvious face mask call? Yikes!

There is a good selection of cob nominations in Week 10 of College Football but unfortunately you can only pick one.

BONUS

Well that’s one way to keep post-game press conferences interesting.

Nebraska could use this guy on special teams.

Down goes HAW-VAHD!
