Volleyball - 1:30 pm on BTN
The last time Nebraska volleyball played, amazing things happened. Their match against Minnesota Friday night was epic. The last time Nebraska played against Wisconsin they lost in three sets. It was not epic. That was 50 days ago. We could say a lot has changed, but has enough changed?
Megan Miller’s serve is clearly in a good place (11 in a row last match and three aces). Serve receive passing is more consistent with just four passers in the passing rotation (Kubik, Sun, Miller and Knuckles). Kubik and Sun are more consistent and have more shots on the outside. Those factors are all changed compare to 50 days ago.
There was a slow, a lull, a period in the middle of the season. But now Nebraska has won seven in a row and seems to have switched into a new mode. Wisconsin is also playing good ball. The same players that Nebraska couldn't stop 50 days ago are still playing well.
Can Nebraska play two epic matches in one weekend? Watch it! You can watch it on BTN or will air on 107.3 FM in Lincoln and AM 590 in Omaha.
