Scouting the SIUE Cougars

The SIUE Cougars come to Lincoln fresh off an 85-74 win over Evansville on Wednesday in Edwardsville, Ill. Sunday’s game with Nebraska will be the first road game of the season for the Cougars.

SIUE is led by former Husker Bria Stallworth. The 5-6 point guard who graduated from Nebraska in May, is averaging a team-best 11.3 points while sharing the team lead with 2.3 assists per game. Stallworth helped the Huskers advance to the NCAA Tournament as a junior in 2018. In her first game as a Husker, she scored a game-high 21 points against SIUE at Pinnacle Bank Arena on Nov. 11, 2017.
