Week 6 of college football was filled with plenty of shenanigans and boneheaded plays. Let’s check out football this week’s cob nominations.
Iowa-Michigan game
It wasn’t a fun game to watch.

Iowa QB Nate Stanley hadn't thrown an interception in 118 pass attempts in his first four games. He’s already thrown three against Michigan. https://t.co/DHXbLS9cHV

Troy Defensive Lineman Travis Sailo
Despite being down 28, it didn’t stop him from going for a dirty hit to the left knee of Kelly Bryant as he threw a touchdown pass. The former Clemson QB was out for the rest of the game.
Yikes this just happened to Mizzou’s Kelly Bryant knee

What are they doing here? Thankfully they still managed to win in triple OT against Tulsa to stay undefeated.

Chip Kelly
After coaching his team to an epic comeback over Washington State, Chip Kelly and UCLA made some costly mistakes in the first quarter at home against Oregon State. It ended up costing the Bruins dearly in a 48-31 loss to the Beavers.

Adam Rittenberg
This Northwestern alum was a bit salty after the Nebraska win.
Really, Nebraska?
— Adam Rittenberg (@ESPNRittenberg) October 5, 2019
Really what? Beating NW?
— Mike Palmer (@MikePalmer_) October 5, 2019
Storming the field for beating them
— Adam Rittenberg (@ESPNRittenberg) October 5, 2019
Nobody stormed the field. It’s pretty rare for a team to not run on after a game winner like that. Also this program is back to back 4-8 seasons. Kinda matters to win each game.

Do you think his apology is enough?
Nebraska fans: I should have been more sensitive about the context with that kick/celebration. My apologies. I didn't fully appreciate the circumstances. I thought reaction would be a bit more like win over Illinois (relief), but I get why this was different.
