Good morning everyone! Harvest is in full swing in northeast Nebraska. After all the flooding and crappy weather, farmers in this part of the state are having a good season.
It is also the opening day for the National FFA Convention. Ranchhand 2 headed off to Indianapolis last night on an all-night bus ride. Nearly 70,000 students will be roaming the streets of Indy in the iconic blue corduroy jackets. FFA is one of the organizations that greatly influenced my life and I’m thrilled to see it not only maintaining its membership and momentum, but gaining.
