The Crimson Tide retain their top ranking this week after beating Tennessee soundly 35-13. LSU continues to impress while the Buckeyes traded places with the Clemson Tigers compared to last week. The Sooners continue to round out the top five.

The Top 10 saw one major upset as Illinois (holy crap!) beat Wisconsin to send the Badgers tumbling from #6 to #12. Penn State filled the void moving up a spot after beating Michigan. Georgia leapfrogged Auburn to move from #9 to #7. Florida and Notre Dame round out the top 10.

The other big moves were Boise State dropping from #13 to #22 after losing to BYU. San Diego State moved into the poll after moving to 6-1 on the season.
