NCAA Football: Northwestern at Nebraska Bruce Thorson-USA TODAY Sports

This week on the Five Heart Podcast, Jon and Greg discuss the win over Northwestern, the highs and the lows found therein. The guys also take a few minutes to preview the game against Minnesota this weekend.

But the highlight of the show is the conversation with Luke Peterson from the $5 Bits of Broken Chair Trophy Coalition (my word, not theirs). With the trophy on the line once again this weekend, the Chair Trophy fund raiser is in full swing, and it’s up to you, Husker Nation, to ensure a fund-raising win for the Big Red. Make your way to their website ( to pledge your support while making a donation to Team Jack. There’s a fund-raising event at the Mall of America tonight, complete with the Nebraska Pep Band. More information can be found here.
