As things stand, Nebraska is 0-3 and is a three point underdog at home to a 1-3 Purdue team.
So what would make 2018 a successful season at this point? Is it even possible?
My preseason prediction was that Nebraska would go 6-6. That does not look likely at this point.
However, in regards to whether I think Nebraska could be successful this season continues to change. I’m at the point right now that if we continue to see improvement as the season progresses then I might be able to say that it was successful.
What say you?
I previously had written this morning about a comment I thought Paul Finebaum made on Golic and Wingo. I finally found the audio this morning. I originally read from one of our readers that Finebaum said that Nebraska’s ceiling is 8 wins. So I took issue with that. However, what he actually said was that another coach said that “Nebraska is an eight win program.” Those are two completely different things. So I have decided to delete it and quickly write something different. Thanks for pointing that out.
