It was quite the weekend with the Big Ten network crew in town on the same day as Fan Day. If you made it down to Memorial Stadium then I hope you got all the autographs that your heart desired.
Today the Associated Press comes out with their preseason top 25 college football teams list. While I do not expect our beloved Huskers to make it I do believe we should see quite a few Big Ten teams on the list. I am guessing it will include Michigan, Michigan State, Wisconsin, and Ohio State. All of which appear on Nebraska’s schedule this year.
Things are looking good for Nebraska right now. The team seems to be responding to the coaching changes. Big gains are being seen in and out of the weight room. Outside media are starting to take notice of the upward changes that have been going on.
But we have yet to play a down. A lot can happen during a season that could very be one of the toughest the Huskers have seen in years. This schedule will truly test this years squad, regardless of who is coaching.
Enjoy this time while you can. In less than two weeks the season will start and every team will come out with a clean slate. Here is to Nebraska making the most of it.
Anyway, on to Flakes...

The Nebraska football team finds itself pretty far from the top of the list in this season's first Big Ten Power rankings.
Beau Sales was born the day Scott Frost was hired. So of course he and his parents were first in line to see coach on fan day.
