Nick Henrich, 6-4 215lb four star linebacker from Omaha Burke, has committed to the Huskers. Henrich is the eighth ranked inside linebacker in the nation, number one athlete in Nebraska, 214 overall. His offer list was a who’s who of elite programs, including Notre Dame, Penn State, Wisconsin, Ole Miss, and Oregon. Also Iowa offered. Henrich was not particularly interested in Nebraska until he was visited by Linebackers Coach Barrett Ruud. Ruud put in the time, did the work, and brought Nick back into the loving arms of his fellow Nebraskans.
Henrich is the 13th commitment that Head Coach Scott Frost has received to date. Per 247, Henrich is also the highest committed recruit that Frost has brought into the fold for the 2019 season.
