Jamie Nance, 6-0 160lb three star wide receiver from Blanchard, OK, has committed to the Huskers! Nance had offers from Ole Miss, Notre Dame, Baylor, and TCU among other Power 5 programs. He had made an unofficial visit for Friday Night Lights on June 22, and loved everything he saw. The Coaches saw that he had ran a 10.66 100m and was state long jump champion, and loved everything they saw. It appeared to be a match made in heaven.
Nance is just blazing fast on the field. He has a great double move, then just gallops away from the cornerback for the endzone. His hands seem to be pretty good, and he is amazing when the ball is thrown in stride. He plays both ways for Blanchard, and subsequently has a good ability to wrestle down the contested throws. Always explosive, he averaged 18.6 yards per catch last season. At 6-0 160, he could stand to eat a few more rare steaks, but only if it doesn’t slow him down. I can’t speak to the quality of the competition in the hudl videos, but he was hands down the fastest player out there.

Nance is the 11th commit in the 2019 class. The class ranking is currently a dismal 36th, 10th in the B1G. The lack of any remaining official visits combined with underutilizing Friday Night Lights hurt recruiting in the spring/summer. Here’s hoping things pick up in the fall!
