Nebraska Football: ILB Andrew Ward Leaves the Program

Redshirt Freshman looks for Playing Time Elsewhere.

Jon Johnston

Another Husker football player has announced he is leaving the program.

Andrew Ward, promising young linebacker prospect, has asked for and received his release from the University of Nebraska. Ward, a three star recruit from Michigan, committed to the Huskers on Christmas Day 2016. He redshirted last season and was mentioned as a standout on the scout team.

Presumably, Ward saw his chances of future playing time being unlikely and will look for better prospects elsewhere. We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.
