Nebraska Recruiting: Junior Day Visit Preview

Crootin

Good evening Huskers and Huskettes! The Nebraska Football team is hosting its first Junior Day this weekend, to give interested parties a look beneath the hood, so to speak. Now that Junior Day weekends are happening and the Spring Game is upcoming, there should be an uptick in recruiting. Let’s take a look at the Who’s Who of Junior Day!

Commits:

York’s Garret Snodgrass and Norfolk’s Ethan Piper are both set to visit, hopefully doing a little peer recruiting on the side.

In-State Visitors:

Local flavor will be provided by Cole Aniello, Ryan Bena, Caden Johnson and Noah Stafursky, with others being added rapidly.

500 Milers:

The biggest name here is Kansan four star WDE/OLB Marcus Hicks. He has Nebraska in his top 12, but has yet to visit the new staff. Kansas City’s Etinosa Reuben, linemen Tre Eaton and Joe Michalski, Missourian WR’s CJ Boone and Maurice Massey, and Iowa’s Cameron Baker and Jared Penning are the headliners in this group.

Blue Chips:

Three big time recruits are getting their first taste of Nebraska Corn this weekend. New Jersey running back Rahmir Johnson is a highly talented running back with serious Husker interest. Four star offensive lineman EJ Ndoma-Ogar from Texas can play either guard or tackle in the Frostfence. Lastly, linebacker Luke Fulton of a little town in Ohio no one’s ever heard of, Cardinal Mooney, is visiting as well.

This is everything I’ve heard regarding this weekend. Things are fluid as always, but I will attempt to stay abreast of the changes and pass them on as they become known. It’s time to get the recruiting hype train rolling! GBR!
