Great news from the state of California!
No, not QUITE that great of news. Almost, though!
Three-star wide receiver Andre Hunt from Lancaster (Calif.) Paraclete commits to #Nebraska #GBR #RivalsNSD @NateClouse

Andre Hunt has committed to the Nebraska Cornhuskers! Hunt, a 6-0 175lb three star wide receiver from Lawndale, California, announced his commitment on the heels of a successful official visit the weekend of Feb 2. He was committed to USC (the trojan type not the cock type), but opened up his recruitment after staff shakeups in December. Offensive Coordinator Troy Walters offered soon thereafter, and had relentlessly pushed for an official visit ever since. Hunt liked what he saw in Lincoln and pulled the trigger for Nebraska.
Hunt doesn’t have any recent hudl footage. Even as a sophomore, he had speed to spare, and good moves. I also like his burst. He looks markedly faster in the junior highlights. The articles on Hunt present him as a speedster with good hands who has the versatility (there’s that word again) to play in multiple positions on offense. All in all, a solid addition to round out the receivers room. He is one of Coach Walters’ favorite recruits, and will be a development project with lots of potential.
Hunt’s commitment moves us ahead of Michigan into 3rd place in the B1G! Welcome to the Husker family, Andre! GBR!
