Cam Taylor, three star athlete out of Montgomery, Alabama, has announced his verbal commitment to Nebraska! The 6-0 190lb athlete was a Missouri commit, before opening up his recruitment in October. The high school quarterback wanted an Auburn offer, and officially visited in January, but the offer never came. In the meantime, the Husker coaching staff had already developed a relationship during their tenure at UCF, and continued to recruit Taylor once they moved to Lincoln. Taylor visited on Jan 26, liked what he saw, and committed to the Huskers.
Cam primarily played QB and slot receiver in high school. He is not a burner, but uses his “football IQ” to find the creases and get down the field. He is being recruited as a defensive back to the Huskers. But, once again, this is a player with a lot of versatility, that gives the coaching staff a lot of options on the field. He is a player who will need developed, but has the smarts and work ethic to succeed in a variety of roles for the Huskers.
Welcome to the Husker family, Cam! GBR!
