After a come from behind extra innings win last night, Nebraska will return to the diamond looking to down the #2 ranked Oregon State Beavers. Oregon State took the opening game of the Big Ten/Pac-12 Challenge from Nebraska on Thursday, defeating the Huskers 9-1.

The good news is that Angelo Altavilla is back in the starting lineup for the Huskers. Altavilla left the game last night after taking a pitch off his inner thigh. Altavilla will slide into the designated hitter spot while Jaxon Hallmark remains at third. Ben Klenke gets another start in center for the Huskers.

Jake McSteen gets the start on the mound for the Huskers while Nate Fisher is expected to be the first arm out of the bullpen. Nebraska will not use Pual Tillotson after he threw three scoreless innings of relief last night.

Oregon State will be without Nick Madrigal who has a hand injury and is out for the rest of the weekend. They will line up with Bryce Fehmel as their starting pitcher. The good news for Nebraska is Fehmel is a right handed pitcher, something the Huskers have rarely seen in the early part of the season.
