Off to Champaign the Huskers go. Their first 20 win regular season in what seems like a century is in books and the Huskers want to make it 21. Lucky for them they get to play the last place team in the Big Ten. Not too bad of a situation to be in at the end of the year.

Illinois has had a rough season, which doesn’t bode well as the Big Ten is hurting from the middle down. Outside of Ohio State, Purdue, and Michigan State there really is a bit of a drop off. Nebraska needs this win to keep it’s NCAA hopes alive. A loss here could very well hurt that.

So, in honor of President’s Day tomorrow I recommend you sit back and enjoy the boys from Lincoln as they take on the Illini from the Land of Lincoln.

At 1:00 pm, Nebraska plays Washington State in the last of their four-game series on opening weekend.
