Thursday Bowl Game Thread!!!

There are more bowls, so of course there’s a game thread.

Duke vs Temple sounds like.. well, it doesn’t sound that interesting. On the other hand, for most of my life both of these teams have been so bad at football that they wouldn’t have made a bowl.

Miami vs Wisconsin - the tale of two teams who’ve had very disappointing seasons. Wisconsin was a clear-cut favorite to win the Big Ten West. Miami was supposed to win the ACC and make it into the College Football Playoff.

Alex Hornibrook is still out with concussion issues. That means Paul Chryst is going to burn Jack Coan’s redshirt to start him in this game. That sounds... like a terrible idea. You could just have a linebacker hand the ball off to Jonathan Taylor all game. Maybe have him throw one or two passes. I’m guessing this game finishes 5-3 Wisconsin.

You get rapists versus nerds to finish off the day.

You can’t really root for rapists, even if they’re playing the SEC, and at least in this case you’re rooting for nerds. Or maybe you’re rooting for neither and rooting for a glorious cluster bomb of what we saw last night in the Cheez-It Bowl.
