Some notes regarding the above:

Luke Reimers, younger brother of former receiver Bryan Reimers, passed up a scholarship offer to South Dakota State to walk on to the Cornhuskers.

Sam Shurtleff is from Georgia. Georgia.

Josh Wegener is the #1 ranked center in the JUCO ranks. He’s the first player to come from Iowa Western Community College. He’s also a December grad, although he is not joining the team until summer conditioning while he rehabs a torn ligament in his foot. This may spell the end for Desmond Bland.

Coach Frost has went on record repeatedly regarding the importance of the walk-on program at Nebraska. Here are some more bedrock to build future Husker successes on. Welcome to the Husker family, gentlemen! GBR!
