Jamin Graham, three star outside linebacker prospect from Atalla, Alabama has committed to the Cornhuskers! Graham had garnered offers from several Power 5 teams such as Minnesota, Mississippi State, South Carolina and Virginia. Most people had him leaning Southern Miss until an at-home visit on Wednesday by Coaches Frost, Dewitt and Chinander showed him how badly Nebraska wanted him. The next step was to get this young man on campus, which happened this weekend. Jamin decided he didn’t need to take any time to think about it and decided to make his decision now.
The first thing you notice about Jamin is his frame. At 6-6, 225, this is a young man who can grow into a defensive end role later in his career. He has the length and reach to disrupt the backfield. The next thing you notice is his speed. He penetrates the backfield rapidly, running down quarterbacks and running backs from the backside of the play often. Another key factor for Jamin is his athleticism. He is a multisport athlete (basketball) who also plays both sides of the ball in football. Overall this is a player who can bring a lot of value to the roster.
