Week 10 Cob Nominations: Roll The Blooper Reel!

Another crazy week of college football with a heavy dose of unexpected blowouts and bloopers.

Caleb Lightbourn:

Don’t think we ever thought the same Husker player could be rewarded a cob twice in the same year. Yet here we are.

Willie Taylor III:

Cal’s Chase Garbers throws a pass which is picked off by Wazzu’s Willie Taylor III. He is about to take it to the house and seal the deal for Washington State...until the unthinkable happens. Despite this, the Cougars still scored a late TD to beat the Bears 19-13.

Florida:

The Gators gave up 471 yards in their 38-17 loss to Drew Lock and Missouri. SEC Fans will tell you all the teams beat each other up but this isn’t the first disappointing loss for the Gators this season. They also helped make Florida history this week.

Penn State:

The Nittany Lions were a mess at the Big House. Three turnovers, 2/11 on 3rd down conversions and 68 yards rushing on 30 attempts. It was a straight up spanking by the Wolverines. A garbage time TD run by Tommy Stevens was all that spared Penn State the blushes of being shut out.

Pitt/Virginia:

This football sequence involving Pitt attempting an extra point will be on blooper reels for many years to come. Despite these shenanigans, Pitt still upsets Virginia 23-13.

Oregon State:

I have no words.

There are so many weird/interesting cob nominees this week but unfortunately you can only choose one. Who is your pick?
