So far this season, Nebraska’s wins are against Minnesota, Bethune-Cookman and Illinois.
If Nebraska wants to put the Big Ten on notice, then it needs to win the next two games. If Nebraska were to go 1-1 or 0-2 over the next two games then that won’t be enough in my opinion to tell those outside of this state that Nebraska is on it’s way back.
Nebraska started 0-6. They now have the opportunity to go 5-1 in their last six games. The second half of the season was considered by most to be the hardest part of the schedule. That opportunity is right in front of them.
Finishing the season with wins against Michigan State and Iowa would definitely make a statement to the Big Ten.
Thanksgiving Dinner: Get Rid of the Turkey
Last week I wrote about gratitude. So this week along that same vein I want to say something about Thanksgiving Dinner.
Is it just me or is Turkey conspicuously only served at one family meal a year? Doesn’t that say something about the bird? What forces family to fee like somebody needs to slave over an oven to cook a bird that nobody would order at a restaurant?
I think a revolution needs to happen. Ham needs to take Turkey’s place at the Thanksgiving dinner table.
It is delicious. Turkey is not. Case closed.
So who do I need to call to get this revolution going? I have an idea of who I should get in contact with.
Somebody somewhere decided that today should be National Fast Food Day. Can somebody put me in touch with the person who makes these “National Days?” I’m sure they would be perfect to get this thing going.

Get to Know the Opponent: Nebraska - The Only Colors
Two games left for the Spartans in the regular season. A win this week gives them a pretty good shot at a New Year’s Day bowl, which would be a pretty acceptable outcome considering the ups and downs of this year.

Austin Rose, with butterflies in his stomach, stood amid his teammates. He was about to get the first carry of his five-year career, a journey that included three head coaches and a litany of drama. He figured it’d be a quick knee, and he’d run off the field.

Husker hoops notes: After tough night, Roby provides highlight; responding to a ripping; defensive adjustment | Men's Basketball | journalstar.com
Isaiah Roby has had better nights.
At least for the first 38 minutes or so against Seton Hall on Wednesday night, the talented junior was a nonfactor. Glued to the bench because of foul trouble, Roby watched his teammates at first hold off, then pull away from Seton Hall.

Warriors forward Draymond Green knows the perceived significance of his argument with teammate Kevin Durant.
“I’ve read a lot about how, is this the end of the run? Or is it over? Or did I ruin it? Or did I force Kevin to leave?” Green said.
But don’t expect Green to bend amid those high stakes.

Of the 27 Deadliest Mass Shooters, 26 of Them Had One Thing in Common | Mark Meckler
Even beyond mass shootings, I believe there are a lot of issues in our society. The root cause for likely nearly every single one of those issues is fatherless homes. That doesn't mean you cannot grow up and be successful without a father. But you cannot turn a blind eye to the problem.
