NCAA Football: Nebraska at Wisconsin Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

Nebraska is 5-0 and it doesn’t matter.

Oh wait, I mean they are 0-5. My apologies for throwing anyone off or messing with their heart medications on this glorious Columbus Day. I wouldn’t want to mess up this holiday for those of you who get it off. I state that because I am one of you.

Back to the Huskers. Nebraska has not had this many losses at the beginning of the season since 1945. Too bad there is no Kansas on the schedule to break the winless streak like there was back then. We get a Northwestern team coming off a road win against a top 20 ranked Michigan State squad.

Then again, Northwestern is known for playing better on the road than at home.

However you want to look at it, still doesn’t matter. In the long run we will all most likely be happy, healthy, and wise none the less. It’s not like we all sit at home and let teenagers dictate how our lives are run, right?

Enjoy this life folks. Even if you have to endure an 0-5 Husker football squad that is improving and will most likely be better off than 95% of all the teams in Division I football in the long run. Again, enjoy it. We will all be fine.

Anyway, on to flakes...
