Grab some popcorn and enjoy perusing through this week’s cob nominations.

Colorado:

They collapsed big time. After Colorado built up a 31-3 early in the 3rd quarter, the Beavers gnawed away at their lead and came all the way back to tie the game. Oregon State scored a touchdown with 29 seconds left but missed the extra point forcing it to OT. The Beavers scored in OT and held off the Buffs to complete the epic comeback.

Iowa:

Iowa was going toe-to-toe with Penn State in Happy Valley. They were driving late in the game with 1st and goal inside the five-yard-line looking to take the lead. Then this play happened. We’re not mad about it.

Nate Stanley plonking the family jewels of Hawky the Iowa mascot in the 1st quarter just adds salt to the wound.

Missouri:

Missouri didn’t get any first downs in the 2nd half against Kentucky. This allowed the Wildcats to claw back and complete the comeback after a pass interference call against a Tigers allowed Kentucky one more shot to go for the win.

TCU:

They lost to Kansas because of a butt fumble. Nothing else needs to be said.

Texas:

Texas was about to lose to Oklahoma State and ruin their chances of getting into the College Football Playoff. So they decided to be poor sports about it. What was Tom Herman thinking? Texas isn’t back. Horns down.

There are so many great cobs from this week of college football but unfortunately you can only pick one. Who do you got?
