Despite reports of UCF blocking his transfer to any American Athletic Conference schools and Nebraska, it appears Noah Vedral will be taking his talents to North Lincoln anyways.
Vedral of Wahoo, Nebraska, is a former 3* dual-threat QB and I’m assuming will have to sit out this fall as a D1 non-graduate transfer. He was McKenzie Milton’s backup at UCF, completing 22 of 29 passes and a passing TD. (UPDATE: this dumb author forgot to check rushing stats, where Vedral rushed for 77 yards and two TDs.)
As a senior, Vedral passed for 1527 yards and 16 passing touchdowns, while rushing for 823 yards and 11 touchdowns.
His transfer home makes sense. The only question that remains is whether Vedral will be immediately on scholarship or if he’ll be walk-on first.
As for Nebraska’s QB room, it’s starting to get quite full. I’m not sure if they’re still pursuing a second HS QB for 2018. But we can probably put to rest any question of whether McKenzie Milton will follow Frost to NU, not that I thought that had any legs to begin with.
Welcome home, Noah!
Go Big Red!
