Nebraska gained a surprise commitment Thursday night when four star wide receiver Dominick Watt pledged to the Huskers. Watt adds another weapon for Scott Frost’s offense after the commitment of Miles Jones earlier in the day.
According to 247, Watt is the 68th best receiver in the 2018 recruiting class, and the 69th best player out of Florida. Overall, 247 has him as the 392nd best player in this recruiting cycle.
Watt is scheduled to take an official visit to Pittsburgh tomorrow, with his official visit to Nebraska not occurring until the first weekend of February. The Huskers were one of the most recent offers for Watt, with Scott Frost offering him on December 5th. Watt also had a previous offer with The University of Central Florida as well.

Watt had offers from a handful of SEC schools including Auburn, Florida, Georgia, and Mississippi state. From a recruiting prospective, Watt is a bit of a surprise addition to the Huskers class, with it looking likely now that the Huskers will be unable to take another all purpose back with his addition.
