Vandy Flip Adds More Speed to Husker Roster

What’s even better than healthy helpings of Florida speed and athleticism? Yet another healthy helping of Florida speed and athleticism!

Jones committed via a two-minute video of highlights, fun, and his donning a Nebraska visor:

Miles Jones, 5-9 170lb three star athlete out of Ft Lauderdale, FL, has pulled the trigger for the Huskers. Jones had been committed to Vanderbilt since March, but received an in-home visit and Husker offer immediately prior to his official visit to Vanderbilt. This caused him to forgo signing in December to assess his options. The official visit to Lincoln in January sealed the deal. Jones canceled his final visit to Vandy and chose the Huskers over offers from Georgia, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Florida and a host of other Power Five schools.

Miles is an elusive player, effective from the backfield or the slot. He is dangerous in space, outrunning most would-be tacklers. His film shows good hands, often going up and getting imperfectly thrown balls. He also had good return ability, although I didn’t like the way he tended to dance around a while before taking off. Jones adds a lot of tools to the offensive toolbox.

The Husker staff continues the infusion of athleticism. Welcome to the Husker family, Miles! GBR!
