Nebraska Basketball: Start Times & TV Set For Big Ten Conference Slate & Kansas Game

Hope your Big Ten Network bill is paid up.

NCAA Basketball: Nebraska at Michigan State Mike Carter-USA TODAY Sports

The Big Ten Conference announced their TV times for the upcoming season for games in their television footprint.

As far as the Nebraska Cornhuskers are concerned, Nebrasketball will be on Big Ten Network. A lot.

17 of the 18 scheduled B1G Conference games that the Huskers have will be on BTN. The only one that will not be on BTN will be the conference opener at Michigan State, which will be picked up by Fox Sports 1.

Nebraska does get two Saturday home Big Ten games, something that didn’t happen with last year’s schedule. The January 27th game vs. Iowa is a 7pm tip, while Rutgers on February 10th is a 3pm tip.

Start times & TV were announced for some other non-conference games that fell out of ESPN control. The home game vs. Kansas on December 16th will be a 7pm tip on FS1. Five other non-conference games get the BTN Plus treatment, meaning that the game will be solely streamed online for an extra cost.

The Gavitt Games match-up with St. Johns, the ACC/B1G game vs. Boston College, and the trip to Creighton does not have TV times yet. ESPN is in control of the Boston College coverage, while the Creighton & St. Johns games will be announced when the Big East announces their setup.

The Advocare Tournament over Thanksgiving break will be carried on the ESPN family as well.
