Not much else to say other than Nebraska has lost to Northern Illinois 21-17.
Nebraska’s offense struggled most of the game, while the defense gave up only seven points to the Huskies’ offense. Unfortunately, those seven points were the winning points after the Huskers had taken the lead 17-14.
Where do we go from here?
The goal of winning the Big Ten West is still intact, but it’ll take a lot of wishful thinking to believe that this Nebraska team is capable of that this season. Right now, you’d hope they win enough games to get to a bowl game.
