According to Alia Conley of the Omaha World Herald, marijuana charges have been dropped against Nebraska wide receiver Stanley Morgan Jr.:

Friday, a spokeswoman said the prosecutors dropped the charges because of “successful completion of a (drug) treatment program.”

Morgan and Nebraska safety Antonio Reed were arrested in May and charged with suspicion of marijuana possession.

Reed still yet to to hear about the outcome of his case, although reporter Conley states that he will have hearing in August on his charges:

Reed is awaiting hearings in August on misdemeanor charges of marijuana and paraphernalia possession. Prosecutors said he also qualifies for the drug treatment program.

So, it looks like Morgan will be fine for the field this fall.

Yay.
