We got rain! This is not a drill!
The sound of raindrops on the roof was a welcome one here at the ranch last night. We’ve been without any significant precipitation since the beginning of June. We could use more, but I will enjoy this before I start getting greedy.
We are also inching closer to football season. Pretty soon, we’ll be writing articles that include thing like ‘I can’t believe we’re already halfway through the season’ and ‘I can’t believe the final game is here already’.
We have a lot of projects that aren’t done and summer is nearly over. The boys go back to school in 2 1⁄2 weeks. They have a garage to paint, a picnic table to build, and some fences to shore up.
How are you spending the rest of your summer before football season?
Warning. So many of these links have annoying auto-play videos or ads. I really despise those, but unfortunately you’d have no Flakes at all if I skipped them.
